As someone who firmly believes in the outfit-elevating power of a great shoe, they’re never really far from my mind. Whether it’s sneakers, ballet flats, or a soft leather loafer, I’ve bought quite a few on-trend shoes this year, and right now I’m thinking about all the styles that go along with simple spring outfits. While perusing my social media feed to inspect some new apparel, I was stunned to see a shoe style that is not already a part of my collection. Scroll after scroll, it became clear that one style in particular was reemerging on the feet of fashion people everywhere: the pointed-toe kitten heel.
Now, I know kitten heels aren’t exactly new news (after all, they’ve been a staple in the wardrobes of chic Parisian women for decades), but the heels I was seeing weren’t the typical sling-back or slip-on variety. No, the seasonal update comes in the form of kitten-heeled court shoes.
At first glance, these heels might be considered too ordinary or, God forbid, “old”, but believe me, they are far from that. With a pointed toe and comfortable heel height, they bring an effortless sense of stylistically polished with little to no effort.
At Who What Wear UK, when all kinds of pointy-toe kitten heels appeared on Victoria Beckham’s Autumn/Winter 2026 runway, we knew change was coming. Think luxurious suede in icy neutral tones, and stand out with a croc-effect in glossy black. The mood was undeniably beautiful, and the kitten-heels followed suit.

With the fashion set paying immediate attention, it’s clear that these spring-ready heels are going to be everywhere. Whether it’s paired with your favorite jeans and a casual T-shirt, a casual floral dress, or a seasonal skirt and floaty blouse, this trend will work with almost every piece in your spring rotation.
