Umm wow, hi TSC. What an honor this is! Where do I even begin? My love affair with essential oils began in 2010. I was home from college for the weekend when my mom insisted I rub peppermint oil on my temples and the roof of my mouth to relieve a hangover headache.
Fast forward to today, they have been a part of my daily routine for a long time. My husband calls them witchcraft and he is probably right. But I will take every holistic healing lotion and potion I can get my hands on! Tea tree on my nose? Lavender on my feet? Sign me up immediately.
Essential oils are pure nutrients distilled, extracted and pressed from various plants, barks, seeds, roots and flowers, which have distinct historical, natural healing properties. They can be taken internally, applied topically, or diffused into the air. Essential oils are detoxifying, antibacterial, antiviral, mood-boosting, and more. These can be used in aromatherapy, personal care, and as naturopathy treatments. So, where and how can you start stocking these in your medicine cabinet?
There are many reputable companies out there but I personally love and trust only doTERRA essential oils Because they source plants from the nation’s regions and rigorously test each bottle. As a former health coach, I referred clients to them all the time, so let’s get started.
Here’s how to start incorporating essential oils into your daily life:

Lavender – diffuse or rub lavender oil On the soles of your feet before sleeping. For deeper sleep, you can also add water to a spray bottle and spray it on the air and pillowcases. peace mix Works great that way.

myrrh And the grounding mixture – You can also apply frankincense to the crown of the child’s head and the grounding mixture to the child’s feet and spine. I would recommend diluting with a carrier oil, such as broken coconutAnd patch-test a small spot on one of their legs before applying it all over.
pregnancy and birth
ginger oil – Take a few drops in one Vegetable Capsules Internally for that first trimester nausea.
helichrysum oil And coconut extract in the lower area at the time of delivery – Helichrysum is known to help with any head injuries you and the baby may have.

Add a few drops in place of spices or fresh herbs when you’re cooking! Below is a list of my favourites.
basil, Cilantro, black pepper, LemonLemon, Thyme, tumeric, Ginger, oregano, cinnamon bark, madagascar vanilla
*Disclaimer: When applying topically for the first time always dilute with a carrier oil and test. When taking internally, make sure the oils are 100% pure. Finally, always remember to wash your hands after use. You don’t want any strong oils like oregano or peppermint to get near your eyes or sensitive skin areas! Been there, done that and I don’t recommend!
