The family of Dave Mason, who died on Sunday April 19, has shared a statement to inform his fans how the singer passed away peacefully.
The family shared the statement on their official social media handles.
The British singer’s death was also announced in the same statement, which read, “It is with deep and profound sadness that we share the news of Dave Mason’s passing.”
The statement also revealed Dave’s last memorable moment, saying, “On Sunday, April 19, after cooking a wonderful dinner with his beloved wife Winifred, he sat down for a nap with sweet Star (Maltese) at his feet.”
Dave passed away peacefully, in his favorite chair, surrounded by the beautiful Carson Valley he loved so much.
The family added, “A storybook ending. On her own terms. That’s how she lived her life to the end.”
At the end of the statement, the family says, “He leaves an indelible mark on the soundtrack of our lives and hearts. His legacy will always be cherished.”
The British singer and guitarist released “Feelin’ Alright?” Like the mainstays of the classic-rock canon wrote. And “Only you know and I know.” He also had a successful solo career.
