March for Liberation and Conversation at AAUW Amador Branch, Meditation Teacher barry wadsworth Will lead a conversation about the benefits of practicing meditation and lead attendees in a guided meditation session.
Barry has been practicing meditation since 1976, starting with Transcendental Meditation and TM Siddhis. In 1985, he began practicing Chan (Zen) meditation while living in Taiwan. After practicing Chan for 22 years, Barry learned Vipassana meditation and he currently practices Dzogchen meditation and incorporates both Christian and Native American spirituality into his teaching. Barry has led meditation groups and hosted retreats since 2006.
