Amanda Batula is making headlines for confirming what Summer House fans assumed was true: her relationship with Wilson West.
“We’ve seen increasing speculation online, so although this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” the reality star said in a lengthy statement on social media. It was never our intention to intentionally hide anything.”
“Given the complex dynamics of relationships and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”
She adds, “We have served as friends to each other through all the ups and downs over the years, and what has developed recently was the last thing either of us expected.”
“Our relationship evolved from a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to treat it with care.”
“As our emotions evolved, we wanted to take the time to really understand what we were feeling. We also recognized that this only affected us and we never wanted our actions to hurt anyone or be thought of as careless.”
“We really appreciate the understanding and respect shown in this direction,” the statement said.
But before West, Kyle was cool
She was in a drama-filled marriage with him for over a decade.
The pair met at a summer house and started dating in 2015, making them the talk of the town.
Three years later, the couple became engaged and married in 2022. However, issues began to arise during their marriage.
Only four years later, the pair shocked fans by announcing their divorce. Reports at the time claimed that the ex-couple’s relationship had been “strained for a long time”.
However, Batula did not remain single for long. A few weeks after her separation from Cooley, she appeared publicly with Wilson.
