Are you looking for a way to save money on the cost of a YouTube Premium individual subscription? That’s always a worthy goal, but especially now, with the latest price increase set to go into effect in June. Google itself is offering a way to reduce sticker shock, at least for some people and with some requirements.

Between now and April 29, 2026, eligible Google One users in specific countries can Add YouTube Premium Individuals to their plan at 50% off For the next 12 months. After that, the plan automatically renews at $11.99 per month, which is a savings of 25%.

Subscribers to other plans, such as the $1.99-per-month Google One Basic and $7.99-per-month Google AI Plus, are not eligible for the discount. Google AI Ultra, which costs $249.99 per month, already includes YouTube Premium as one of its benefits.

This deal is only available to Google One and AI Pro customers in the US, Canada, Brazil, France, Germany, and Japan. But it is available to both new and existing YouTube Premium subscribers. However, the discounted price is only good for 12 months.

With the latest cost increase starting in June, YouTube Premium users will pay premium prices for their subscriptions. Sign-up page for YouTube Premium Reveals details. But here are the changes for each plan:
- Lite plan: $8.99 per month, up from $7.99.
- Student plan: increased from $7.99 to $8.99 per month.
- Personal plan: $15.99 per month, up from $13.99.
- Family plan: Increased from $22.99 to $26.99 per month.

With the new 50% discount, users on the Personal plan will have to pay $7.99 per month for 12 months, and then the plan will renew at $11.99 per month at a 25% discount.
How to get a deal
In any desktop browser, go to Google One’s YouTube Premium plans page. Click on the Get Offer button. (You can also see this offer here) Google One account landing page.) Choose a payment method and click Subscribe.
