A 12-year-old girl is among five people killed in horrific Russian attacks on Kiev – despite claims from blood-soaked dictator Vladimir Putin that the war is nearing its end.
Ukraine suffered one of the worst attacks of the war this year after the Kremlin launched a series of attacks on the capital and other cities.
The vicious Vlad mocked his own claim five days earlier when he scoffed that the conflict was “about to end”.
True to his methods, the dictator targeted civilians, and demolished a nine-story residential building in the Darnitsky district of Kiev.
Apart from the five dead, 40 are injured and around ten are missing as emergency services desperately dig through the debris in search of survivors.
Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said: “We hope that there will be no people under the debris, but the probability is quite high.”

Crazy Putin has placed former British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace on the most wanted list.
Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky said: “The entrance to the building has been completely destroyed.
“My condolences to the families and loved ones. There may still be people trapped under the debris.”
Russian forces launched 675 drones and 56 missiles – ballistic, aero-ballistic and cruise – on Ukraine overnight.
In the Obolonsky district, the Russians attacked an apartment on the 12th floor of a residential building and there were another 28 victims in Kharkiv.
Notably, Ukrainian forces shot down or intercepted 652 UAVs and 41 missiles.
But they were unable to intercept 15 missiles and 23 attack UAVs that hit 24 locations.
These include general residential buildings, a school, a veterinary hospital and other purely civil infrastructure.
Zelensky vowed that “there will be an appropriate response to all this.” strikes“.
He said Moscow must “feel the consequences of its terror there”.
“It is vital that there are world sanctions against Russia.”
Zelensky also mocked Putin’s claim that the war would soon end.
He said: “In total, since the beginning of yesterday, the Russians have used more than 1,560 drones against our cities and communities.
“These are certainly not the actions of people who believe that the war is ending.
“It is important that our partners do not remain silent about this attack.”
Putin’s propaganda mercenaries Since then it is being shamelessly claimed that Ukraine had carried out the attack.
The Russian war channel Zapiski Veterna made the absurd claim: “They cleverly staged a demonstration in Kiev in which a residential building was allegedly attacked with a missile, apparently having previously rigged the building with industrial explosives.”
No evidence was provided of this effort to absolve the Russian armed forces of horrific attacks on civilians.
The Russians claimed that the Ukrainians wanted to obscure the arrest of Zelensky’s former chief of staff Andrey Yermak on corruption charges, and gain sympathy from the West.
Earlier, NATO fighters rushed to intercept a Russian Il-20 spy base over the Baltic Sea
The reconnaissance aircraft was “flying in international airspace without any flight plan and with the transponder turned off,” the Polish Defense Ministry said.
“Our aircraft intercepted a Russian Il-20 RReconnaissance aircraft over international waters in the Baltic Sea,” Defense Minister Vladislav Kosinik-Kamiz said.
“This is another aggressive action by the Russian Federation and a test of our air defense systems.”
