The Honor 600 and Honor 600 Pro were introduced in the global markets last month and are now set to launch in China. Honor has confirmed the launch date, design, color options and storage configuration of both the smartphones.
In a post on Weibo, the company confirmed that the Honor 600 series will launch in China on May 25. The smartphones are already available for pre-order in the country.
Honor 600 in Lucky Star color option
Honor has also revealed the design of the upcoming devices, although it has not yet revealed their full hardware specifications. One notable change is the redesigned rear camera module, which differentiates the Chinese variant from the global model.
While the global Honor 600 and Honor 600 Pro feature a rectangular camera island, the Chinese versions adopt a pill-shaped horizontal camera bar.
Honor 600 Pro in Light Feather Blue shade
The standard Honor 600 will feature a dual rear camera setup, while the Honor 600 Pro is confirmed to feature a triple-camera system with a 200MP main sensor.
Meanwhile, the Chinese Honor 600 Pro will have an 8,000mAh battery, while the global variant has a 7,000mAh battery. As far as the standard model is concerned, it will have a large cell of 8,600mAh.
Honor 600 in Light Feather Blue, Green Apple and Obsidian Black colors
As mentioned earlier, the phones have also been listed on Honor’s online store in China. The Honor 600 will be available in 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB variants and will be offered in Lucky Star, Obsidian Black, Light Feature Blue, and Green Apple colors.
Honor 600 Pro in Lucky Star, Obsidian Black and Green Apple shades
The Honor 600 Pro, on the other hand, will be sold in 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, and 16GB/512GB configurations. It will also be available in the same colors as the standard version.
The Lucky Star variant will have a unique pattern on the rear panel. Honor is likely to share more details about the phone in the days leading up to the launch.
