The singer’s nephew Jafar Jackson plays him in the biopic, which has made $217 million globally since its release on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The film was better received by audiences than by critics, many of whom complained that the film portrayed a “sanitized” version of Jackson’s career.<\/p>\n
