Over the same period, the nursing workforce grew by only 15 percent.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"27\"\/>Nearly two-thirds of nurses said their workload had increased significantly over the past three years, while only 19 percent described the workload as manageable.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"30\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h3>Warnings on burnout and system stress<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"32\"\/>Nurses also reported severe burnout, with some saying they regularly worked beyond shifts and struggled to complete essential tasks.
