On Friday, April 24th, we celebrated the release of our latest cover starring Electrify kitty liver<\/strong>shot by Jordan Millington Licorice<\/strong>. As Kitty’s first cover, this moment demanded nothing less than a full-scale f\u00eate and our friends Freehand Hotel<\/a> <\/em>Delivered in signature style rolling out the red carpet.<\/span><\/p>\n

Housed in a historic 1928 Flatiron District building, just steps away from the iconic Gramercy Theatre, Freehand sets the scene for an unforgettable night. We were welcomed into the GW Suite, an airy, light-filled haven that became our grand headquarters for the evening. With gorgeous city views and a cozy open living space, it was the perfect backdrop for a pre-game ritual.<\/span><\/p>\n

As we prepared for Kitty’s arrival, an infectious laugh echoed through the corridor. She entered like a burst of light, spreading energy that instantly filled the room. The mood changed: anticipation increased, the music got louder, the vibes became undeniable. As the transformation began, Kitty slipped into a robe and sat down in a glamorous chair. Check lips, eyes, hair. Then came the look: a multicolored latex mini by Tableaux Vivants, topped with a custom “party girl” tiara. Icon behavior.<\/span><\/p>\n

Like Ladygan, Freehand thrives as a community-driven space where culture, art and authenticity collide to foster creativity. Naturally, before heading up, a casual photoshoot unfolded in the hotel’s artistic interiors. It wouldn’t be Ladybug Night without a little spontaneity.<\/span><\/p>\n

we made our way broken shaker<\/a><\/em>Escape to the hotel’s tropical rooftop, where specialty cocktails like the “Kitty Under the Moonlight” and “Ladygun Punch” are already flowing. After some rounds we got down bar calico<\/a><\/em> On the second floor, a space inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe and the American Southwest for an intimate dinner in its own private dining room.<\/span><\/p>\n

Champagne in hand, guests were welcomed to the sounds of DJ ChiChi, setting the tone for the night. As everyone sat down, editor-in-chief Phil Gomez raised a glass: “Kitty is the ultimate Ladygan inspiration because she lives her life authentically and unapologetically.” Kitty followed with a full-circle reflection, sharing that a few years ago she was working at Ray’s Bar Calico’s sister restaurant and now, she was being celebrated in the same classroom for her first cover. Surrealism doesn’t even begin to cover it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dinner was a feast in every sense: Burke’s Bakery sourdough with cultured salted butter, a crisp market lettuce salad with watermelon radish and citrus vinaigrette, and tuna Ni\u00e7oise tartare layered with kalamata, capers, basil and lentil crisp. Mains included a perfectly cooked hanger steak frites with hach\u00e9 chile au poivre and a tahini miso broiled salmon, paired with broccolini with garlic, lemon and olive oil. Seasonal fruit sorbets offered a refreshing finish but the real dessert was yet to come.<\/span><\/p>\n

Because in true Ladygan fashion, the night didn’t end at dinner. It evolved into a full-blown dance party, where the music pulsated, the energy soared and Kitty, our cover star, reigned supreme. Before the final exit, guests were given a goodie bag courtesy of Kush Queen. Each bag includes Kush Queen THC Gummies and CBD Bath Bombs which are the perfect combo to complete such a coveted night. The night’s mix of energy, genuine connection, style and pure entertainment perfectly encapsulates everything that Ladygan represents. Celebrating Kitty Liver wasn’t just a covers release; It was a testament to authentic, unapologetic self-expression.
