However, specific measures will be decided after the ongoing public consultation concludes.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"13\"\/>Bailey said the government would be legally required to act after consultation, underlining that the question was &#8220;how&#8221; to act, not &#8220;if&#8221;.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"15\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h3>Timeline for implementation<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"17\"\/>The government said a progress report would be published within three months of the bill receiving royal assent.
