YouTube TV Multiview is finally breaking loose, so now you can create your own split-screen instead of relying on Google’s preset combos.<\/li>\n
There are still limitations: Only live content works, meaning there won’t be any DVR recordings or on-demand shows in MultiView.<\/li>\n
Device support is not universal, with some older devices getting the version limited to major events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

Multiview has always been a bit hit or miss on Google’s Live TV service. You can watch up to four streams simultaneously. The problem was that you couldn’t choose which stream to watch. Google chose combinations, so users had to scroll through presets that often didn’t suit their needs. Now, Google is finally relaxing this frustrating limitation on YouTube TV, although it’s not completely open yet.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
