Shares rose after the report.<\/p>\n\nearnings per share: <\/strong>$5.11 <\/li>\nIncome: <\/strong>$109.9 billion vs <\/strong>Analysts surveyed by LSEG expected $107.2 billion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nIt’s unclear whether EPS was on par with the $2.63 expected by analysts surveyed by LSEG.<\/p>\nWall Street was also tracking several other numbers in the report:<\/p>\n\nGoogle Cloud: <\/strong>$20.02 billion vs. <\/strong>Estimated at $18.05 billion according to StreetAccount<\/li>\nYouTube Ads: <\/strong>$9.88 vs. $9.99 billion estimated according to StreetAccount <\/li>\nTraffic Acquisition Cost:<\/strong> $15.22 vs. $15.3 billion estimated according to StreetAccount<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThe company beat Wall Street expectations in terms of revenue, which grew 20% from last year and recorded its highest growth rate for any quarter since 2022.<\/p>\n“Our enterprise AI solutions have become our primary growth driver for the cloud for the first time ever,” CEO Sundar Pichai told analysts on the earnings call. <\/p>\nPichai said in a release that Gemini Enterprise’s paid monthly active users have increased by 40% compared to the previous quarter.<\/p>\nThe company also updated its 2026 capital spending guidance range to $180 billion to $190 billion, up from its previous estimate of $175 billion to $185 billion. Alphabet had said in December that it would acquire data center company Intersect for $4.75 billion in cash and debt.<\/p>\nCFO Anat Ashkenazi also said he expects the company’s 2027 CapEx to “significantly increase” compared to 2026.<\/p>\nAlphabet reported capital spending of $35.7 billion during the quarter. This includes real estate, servers, data centers, and other infrastructure.
