Looks like he&#8217;s finally caught on. <\/p>\n<p>The artificial intelligence startup, founded by former OpenAI executives five years ago, is in talks with investors to raise money at a valuation of $900 billion, according to a person familiar with the matter. No term sheet has been signed and talks are ongoing, the person said, speaking on condition of anonymity because the discussions are private. <\/p>\n<p>An Anthropic spokesperson declined to comment. <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2026-04-29\/anthropic-considering-funding-offers-at-over-900-billion-value?embedded-checkout=true\">bloomberg<\/a> were the first to report on the potential financing. <\/p>\n<p>OpenAI was valued at $852 billion in its last funding round in late March. <\/p>\n<p>Anthropic said earlier <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.anthropic.com\/news\/google-broadcom-partnership-compute\">this month<\/a> The popularity of its cloud code offering has led its business to reach $30 billion in annual revenue. <\/p>\n<p><em>This is breaking news.
