Early adopters got solid speeds at competitive prices. But as the service expands, the initial value proposition may change, not entirely in favor of new customers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"e_e e_L\">\n<p>As of now, T-Mobile&#8217;s Fiber lineup starts at 500Mbps for $55 per month with autopay. From there, you can move up to 1Gbps for $65 or 2Gbps for $70.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"e_e e_L\">\n<p>However, that structure is now being reworked. <a rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/tmo.report\/2026\/04\/t-mobile-is-already-changing-their-t-fiber-plans\/\"><em>mobile report<\/em><\/a>    There are suggestions that T-Mobile may be tweaking its fiber plans, with a new 300Mbps tier potentially serving as the new entry point at $45 per month with autopay. Yes, the entry price may be reduced by $10, but that savings comes with a reduction in 200Mbps speeds. For those who see the 500Mbps level as the ideal middle ground, removing it feels like a step backward. Offering both 300Mbps and 500Mbps options would have created a balanced lineup rather than forcing users to compromise on speeds or pay more.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"e_e e_L\">\n<p>There is also another important detail that may become equally important over time. The report claims that these new plans will no longer include T-Mobile&#8217;s five-year price guarantee. If true, it opens the door to future price swings that earlier plans had helped protect against.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"e_e e_L\">\n<p>As of now, existing customers do not seem to be affected by this, their existing prices are expected to remain the same. But for anyone considering moving to T-Mobile Fiber, the value proposition may not be as clear as it was before.
