If you’re a longtime Fitbit user, you’ll need to switch to a Google account if you haven’t already done so. The deadline set by Google for the change is May 19, 2026, after which all of your past fitness activity stored in your Fitbit account will be lost forever.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\nHow to transfer Fitbit data to Google account?<\/h2>\n
Although moving your stuff from one app to another may seem daunting, the process is actually very simple. You just need to make sure that the Fitbit app on your Android device or iPhone is up to date. Then open the app, Tap your profile photo<\/strong> To the Devices and Accounts menu, where you will see the option Move Fitbit to your Google Account<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nHere, tap the Move Account button, after which you’ll be directed through a few different screens where you choose the Google account and agree to any terms.
