Los Angeles police said a southbound vehicle crossed into the northbound lane and collided with another oncoming vehicle. <\/p>\n<p>Responding officers and emergency officials identified four crash victims at the scene. <\/p>\n<p>One person died at the accident site due to injuries. <\/p>\n<p>Paramedics took three others to hospital. A one year old child died in the hospital. <\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/lafd.org\/alert\/traffic-05032026-inc0306\">According to the Los Angeles Fire Department<\/a>A woman involved in the collision was in critical condition when taken to hospital. The LAPD said a second person survived and was transported to the hospital, but his current condition was not known.<\/p>\n<p>The relationship between the victims was not immediately known.<\/p>\n<p>The driver responsible for the accident \u2013 \u200b\u200bwho was driving a white Jeep \u2013 fled the scene and headed north on Vista del Mar.
