Another UNIFIL position was hit by machine gun fire, with one round hitting a UN vehicle parked inside the compound.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<strong>We reiterate once again that our peacekeepers must never be targeted, and their safety must be guaranteed at all times by all parties.<\/strong>UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric told this to journalists at his regular press briefing in New York.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the insecurity, UN peacekeepers facilitated an aid convoy of about 30 trucks into the border town of Rameech, where about 7,000 residents live, amid difficult and dangerous conditions.<\/p>\n<h2>human condition<\/h2>\n<p>The situation on the broader humanitarian front is continuously worsening. Lebanese officials said 13 people, including a child and four women, were killed and 32 wounded in attacks in southern Lebanon on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities say more than 124,000 people are now sheltering in 625 schools and public buildings, while new displacement orders were issued in 11 towns in Nabatieh after airstrikes forced additional families to flee.<\/p>\n<p>Some residents attempting to return home have retreated into shelters after their homes were destroyed or inaccessible.<\/p>\n<h2>Health care is under stress<\/h2>\n<p>According to the latest updates from UN agencies and partners, <strong>The situation remains &#8220;highly volatile&#8221;, especially in the southern regions.<\/strong> And places where displaced people are trying to return.<\/p>\n<p>Health services are severely disrupted.
