Google’s Pixel devices are now receiving the May 2026 update, which brings several bug fixes and other improvements. This update is currently rolling out for Pixel 7a and later and Pixel tablets.<\/p>\n
Although the May 2026 update does not introduce any new features, Google has addressed several persistent bugs. The build number of the update is CP1A.260505.005 and it includes the latest May Android security patch.<\/p>\n

The update also addresses an issue where the Camera app could freeze when recording a video or adjusting the zoom.<\/p>\n Additionally, Google has fixed an issue causing flickering white dots or visual noise on the display, as well as an issue where the screen may appear blurry or unresponsive. A bug affecting the keyboard, where it would appear frozen or render incorrectly, has also been addressed.<\/p>\n This update is being rolled out for the Pixel 7a, Pixel 8 series, Pixel Fold, Pixel 9 and Pixel 10 lineup, Pixel tablets, and the latest Pixel 10a.<\/p>\n Google has also issued a warning to Pixel 10 series users, saying that the update includes a bootloader change that prevents devices from rolling back to earlier Android 16 builds.<\/p>\ngoogle pixel 10a 5g<\/h4>\n
