He asked \u2013 &#8216;Your kindness has previously mentioned sixty-two types of combinations of doshas. Which of these should be understood in combination with one, two or three? Agni, Soma etc. are the eleven pranas. The number of diseases is eleven hundred and twenty (one thousand, one hundred and twenty) and the number of substances is five hundred and seventy three. Thus by combining all the above mentioned types, we will get a total of twenty-five types with aggravated defects.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In cases of reduction of defects with the same number of combinations (taken one, two or three at a time as explained in defect increase) we will have fifty combinations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The number of combinations (taking one, two and three at a time) including aggravated and attenuated doshas will be twelve only (they become twelve as the doshas decrease, increase and decrease). This helps people with poor mental (comprehension) ability to understand hidden meanings clearly. This will also help in understanding a wider range of topics.
