I had it back when it was still distributing DVDs, so I know how to use the streaming service. I’ve written a lot about it over the years, like recommending my favorite Netflix codes, tips, and tricks. “Code?” You may be asking yourself. Yes, there are hundreds of Netflix codes, and I use them regularly to find hidden movies to watch for free.<\/p>\n Netflix organizes its entire library into multiple genres and micro categories. Each has a numerical code associated with it. Some are widespread, such as action and adventure<\/a>While others are oddly specific, like deep sea horror movies<\/a>. These codes will not unlock new movies, paid additional movies, or content outside of my plan. They just take me to curated pages that Netflix buries. <\/p>\n Too: <\/strong>The 4 Streaming Services I Swear By – I Bill $40 a Month<\/strong><\/p>\n They’re great for breaking out of Netflix’s recommendation cycle and browsing what’s beneath the surface. But it’s not obvious how to find the codes or use them, since Netflix doesn’t advertise them. So, here’s how, as well as my favorites. <\/p>\n Before I get into which Netflix codes are worth trying, let’s cover the basics, including how to use them. <\/p>\n You don’t need to remember the Netflix code. such as free directories netflix-code<\/a> And what’s on netflix<\/a> Lets you search by keyword or browse alphabetically. Want kidnapping movies? Use 20541<\/a>. Screwball comedies? Effort 9702<\/a>. These categories rarely appear on the Netflix home screen, but they do have pages you can access with a code.<\/p>\n Also: Is Netflix Premium Worth It? I compared it to ad-free plans<\/strong><\/p>\n Just note: while Netflix codes indicate categories, they do not guarantee that every title in that category will be available where you live. Availability varies by country as well as licensing deals and timing.<\/p>\n So some pages may be full while others may appear sparse. You can also use the mobile app or TV app. If you look at the Netflix codes, you’ll see a lot of warnings about how the codes only work in the browser. This is not entirely true, but the browser method is direct and reliable.<\/p>\n Also: I changed 13 settings on my TV to improve its performance<\/strong><\/p>\n In my experience, the browser method will always show you the category titles, but if you use the app, you’ll only get a grid of movie and show titles. Either way, you’ll see curated content associated with that code. Once you find something to watch, you can add it to “My List” and watch it later on any device or TV of your choice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n show more <\/div>\n Once Netflix is \u200b\u200bloaded, it’s time to enter the code. Again, this depends on whether you are using a browser or an app.<\/p>\n If you’re using Netflix in a browser, enter a Netflix-style URL using this format: Netflix.com\/browse\/genre\/XXXX<\/a>. The XXXX part is where the Netflix code goes. For example, if you want to browse fantasy anime, replace XXXX with 11146, so that the URL becomes: netflix.com\/browse\/genre\/11146<\/a>. <\/p>\n Once you enter the genre URL in your browser, Netflix will take you directly to that category. In fantasy anime, I’m seeing titles like black clover<\/em>, Animal<\/em>And Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba<\/em>to name a few.<\/p>\n Also: Do \u200b\u200byou have a TCL TV? Changing these 12+ settings made a big difference<\/strong><\/p>\n If you’re using the Netflix mobile or TV app, go to the search screen in Netflix and enter a code. So, if you want to find a psychological thriller, enter 5505<\/a>. I did this on my TV and watched hypnotic<\/em>, heard and seen things<\/em>And alone<\/em>. <\/p>\n Now, earlier I said that using the browser method is more reliable. This is because if you use the search method in Netflix’s mobile or TV app you may see some strange things. For example, Netflix on my TV is currently showing me too hulk hogan’s real american<\/em>. Not exactly a psychological thriller. or is it?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n show more <\/div>\n Okay, now that you know how to find and enter the codes, here is my list of Netflix codes that I use most often and why. <\/p>\n During Oscar season, Netflix displays the nominees in its library on the home screen. But what about the rest of the year? This is where this code is useful. If you want to see prestige titles in multiple genres that are associated with awards or nominations, bookmark this category. Right now, in my results, I see American Gangster<\/em>, beautiful woman<\/em>And Bohemian Rhapsody.<\/em><\/p>\n This is one of my favorite categories when I want something cozy and literary without having to binge-watch every drama on Netflix. I’m looking at my results right now outlander<\/em>, All Quiet on the Western Front<\/em>, queen’s stake<\/em>And matilda the musical<\/em>. This category not only curates adaptations, but also features character-driven films and stories with great plot and emotional impact. <\/p>\n I like this code because it showcases female filmmakers, and it’s very broad. There are romantic comedies, horror, blockbuster action films and coming-of-age films, all from female writers. I am looking in my results Owner<\/em>, 27 dresses<\/em>, Jennifer’s Body<\/em>, 13 going on 30<\/em>And jurassic world dominion<\/em>. I didn’t know that last one was written by a woman.<\/p>\n This range is pure nostalgia, even if it’s more “1980-adjacent”. In my results, there is Netflix field of dreams<\/em>, steel magnolias<\/em>And breakfast club<\/em>as well as young sheldon<\/em>Which is based on the 80’s but was not made then. Still, if you want to relive that decade or recapture the feeling of the late 20th century, including big hair and neon wardrobe choices, this is a great range to check out. <\/p>\n I’m an 80s kid and a 90s kid, so this is another code I use when I want to be nostalgic. My results currently include Dawson’s Creek<\/em>, West Wing<\/em>And touched by an angel<\/em>. Again, not every title is completely ’90s, but the category still has that DNA: stars from that era, network-TV and cable-era shows, and more. It’s a totally relaxing thing. <\/p>\n Did you know that science fiction is a huge, expansive genre? For example, horror is a subgenre of science-fiction. It’s actually my favorite, but Aliens is a close second. I’m not necessarily a fan of science-fiction movies ex machina<\/em>But Independence Day<\/em>? Yes, please. So, this category gives me exactly that: creatures, attacks, and more. I am just watching right now starship troopers<\/em>, poison<\/em>And falling Skies<\/em>. <\/p>\n Speaking of horror, I love all things supernatural, mysterious, and just plain magical. Not just during the Halloween season, but all year long. In this category, I am looking for Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches<\/em>, ritual<\/em>, something very bad is going to happen<\/em>And Castle Rock<\/em>. This category seems to include anything related to magic, curses, or horror-adjacent stories. It’s detailed but scary. <\/p>\n I like this category because it’s about the long-running Kevin Bacon Connection game on the Internet, where actors are connected through shared credits. In my results, there is Netflix meet the Parents<\/em>, stranger things<\/em>, lincoln lawyer<\/em>, shameless<\/em>And close to<\/em>. <\/p>\n Also: Best Live TV Streaming Services: Expert Tested<\/strong><\/p>\n Last but not least is Bacon’s wife Kyra Sedgwick. Other people? No clue why they’re here. But that’s the whole point. This is a rabbit-hole category where you can enjoy exploring Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon. <\/p>\n British humor is wonderful: dry wit, sarcasm, heavy satire and self-deprecation. Who doesn’t enjoy that? absolutely fantastic<\/em> And royal family<\/em> These are probably my two favorite sitcoms of all time, and they’re British. So when I saw that Netflix had a British comedy category, I immediately saved it. Right now in my results, I see Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget<\/em>, Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Foul<\/em>, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon<\/em>And that christmas<\/em>.
