“The anti-corruption and security unit has flagged certain anomalies and submitted a report regarding unauthorized persons being seen in the dugout, team bus and team hotel during IPL matches,” Dhumal told PTI. <\/span><\/p>\n

“There are certain protocols under the PMOA that need to be followed and BCCI will ask the franchises to take care of the SOPs so that the sanctity of the tournament is restored,” he said. <\/span><\/p>\n

Devjit Saikia warns franchises and players from mixing with unauthorized people<\/h2>\n

BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia had already reacted after the Riyan Parag vaping incident, claiming that he will take strict action to maintain the integrity of the prestigious league. He also said that various anomalies and irregularities have already been tolerated by the BCCI and now the time has come to issue a final warning to the players and teams. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis time, we have observed various anomalies and irregularities in the conduct of some franchises and players,\u201d Saikia told ANI on Thursday. “So BCCI and IPL are preparing an advisory and we are going to issue that advisory.”<\/span><\/p>\n

He further said that many unauthorized people have been seen with the players in the team buses and they are roaming around with the players. <\/span>Apart from this there are also unauthorized people <\/span>coming to<\/span> Hotel rooms of players and team officials, which <\/span>is against<\/span> Anti-corruption protocol.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Saikia dislikes meeting players outside the area designated by franchise owners<\/h2>\n
