We assume the &#8220;P&#8221; stands for &#8220;Pro&#8221;, but for some reason DJI doesn&#8217;t want to use that word. Anyway, the main feature here is a detachable remote, which has a touchscreen that mirrors the view from your phone. The remote also features a joystick, giving you great flexibility to control the device remotely and perfectly frame your shots when using your phone&#8217;s rear camera.<\/p>\n<p>The Osmo Mobile 8P comes with ActiveTrack 8.0, which &#8220;provides even more agile subject tracking&#8221; to keep you in frame even when you&#8217;re part of a complex crowd. You can also connect your iPhone directly to the gimbal using Apple DockKit.<\/p>\n<p>The Osmo Mobile 8P features a 3-axis gimbal, a built-in tripod, and a 215mm extension rod. The tripod opens wide for better stability. The Osmo Mobile 8P weighs 386 grams and its 3,350 mAh battery provides 10 hours of battery life. It can also charge your phone via USB-C.
