Remember the terrible storm that suddenly arose? The disciples thought that my son was unaware of the storm because he was sleeping, and they feared for their lives. He concluded from his vantage point that they did not care about their circumstances. &#8220;But he was on his back, sleeping on the pillow. And they woke him up and said to him, &#8216;Teacher, don&#8217;t you care that we are perishing?'&#8221; (Mark 4:38). Son, don&#8217;t think that I don&#8217;t care if I can&#8217;t immediately calm every storm in your life. Storms help you understand your level of confidence and how to apply it. Let me take you not around the storms but through them. Storms teach you to overcome adversity. My son David understood this.
