Pacific Coast Highway, just before 6 p.m. Saturday. <\/p>\n<p>Authorities say the man tried to intervene as the two women were fighting, when the suspect pulled out a gun and fired several rounds, wounding the 26-year-old man and another man. <\/p>\n<p>Paramedics took both victims to a local hospital, where the 26-year-old man was pronounced dead. The second person is in stable condition and expected to survive, police said. <\/p>\n<p>The gunman, described as being between 20 and 25 years old, fled the scene on foot.
