The 27-year-old Singaporean content creator was allegedly attacked outside the Doujima anime convention at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Center on May 9. Video circulating online showing a teenager dressed like Yuji Itadori from the anime series Jujutsu Kaisen punching and kicking Yi during a chaotic confrontation quickly spread on social media.The incident reignited debate over Yi’s long and deeply divisive public image.
