This is great news and means you can now work much faster on your new Android phone.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"e_e e_S\">\n<p>&#8220;Your passwords, photos, messages, favorite apps, contacts, and even your homescreen layout can be wirelessly migrated from your iPhone to your new Android device,&#8221; the company explained in a blog post. It&#8217;s worth noting that Google already lets you transfer photos\/videos, contacts, and apps wirelessly. However, <a rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/android\/answer\/13626960?hl=en#what_transfers&amp;zippy=%2Ccopy-data-from-your-old-phone-with-a-cable\">Google support documentation<\/a> Suggests that you previously needed a cable to transfer messages.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"e_e e_S\">\n<p>&#8220;This new wireless process, which also supports eSIM transfers, will first launch on Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel devices this year,&#8221; the company said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"e_e e_S\">\n<p>In any case, we&#8217;re glad to see that the iPhone to Android migration is getting easier. But we hope other Android OEMs are not far behind in gaining access to these wireless transfer improvements.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"e_e e_S\">\n<p>This isn&#8217;t the only major cross-platform news today either.
