Announced during the Android Show I\/O edition, Googlebooks are Android-powered laptops that will be made by partner manufacturers starting this autumn. Google plans to share more details about Googlebooks later this year, but it has already revealed teaser renders for the upcoming laptop and the names of the five partners who created them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"e_e e_S\">\n<p>So far, we know that Googlebooks runs software built on the Android technology stack and the newly announced Gemini Intelligence. Google also confirmed that Googlebooks will have a premium design with a hallmark &#8220;Globar&#8221; at the top of the outer lid. Who will create Googlebooks for the first time? <strong>Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP and Lenovo<\/strong>There are potentially more names to come. Googlebooks are built on the Android technology stack, and although Google hasn&#8217;t confirmed the exact name of the operating system that will power them, it certainly sounds like an Aluminum OS project. Google&#8217;s premium laptop offerings to date fall under the Chromebook Plus brand, and Samsung makes a premium Chromebook Plus laptop in the Galaxy Chromebook Plus. Officer <a rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/chromebook\/shop-chromebooks\/?modal-id=oem-links\">Purchase from the Chromebook website<\/a> List of six partner brands: <strong>Acer, ASUS, HP, Lenovo, Samsung and Dell<\/strong>. The only Chromebook partner listed on Google&#8217;s site is Samsung, which has not been confirmed to be making a Googlebook.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"e_e e_S\">\n<p>This omission doesn&#8217;t rule out Samsung continuing to make Googlebooks in the future \u2013 or a Chromebook Plus model. Google stressed that Googlebooks are not a replacement for Chromebooks and stressed that Chromebooks will remain supported for their 10-year lifespan.
