Today&#8217;s announcement never explicitly says that the content of your chats will not be used to train AI models, but it does clearly promise that humans will never read your secret chats.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"e_e e_Q\">\n<p>Meta&#8217;s announcement references the fact that &#8220;incognito-style modes&#8221; in other AI apps don&#8217;t prevent the platform from accessing your chat content. It appears to be this: Last month, a proposed class action against Perplexity alleged that the service&#8217;s Incognito Mode quietly shares chat content with third parties (including Meta, the suit says) for the purpose of ad targeting.
