The warning comes amid continuing hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah fighters despite a ceasefire that began on April 17.<\/p>\n

At around 5.20 pm on Tuesday 12 May, another drone exploded in the same area and a few minutes later, “an assumed Hezbollah drone exploded inside the UNIFIL headquarters”. No injuries were reported, but some buildings were damaged.<\/p>\n

UNIFIL reiterated its call on all actors to avoid operating near UN positions and personnel and to refrain from any actions that could endanger peacekeepers.<\/p>\n

The mission said it particularly protested the presence, activities and movement of Israeli security personnel and vehicles near UNIFIL headquarters. It also protested against activities by non-state actors near UN posts and the Lebanese Armed Forces.<\/p>\n

According to Lebanese officials, more than 380 people have been killed in Israeli attacks since the ceasefire began. The total number of deaths from Israeli attacks has reached more than 2,880 people, including 279 women and 200 children, since March 2, when the war broke out shortly after Israel-US began bombing Iran.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in southern Lebanon, two airstrikes on Tuesday reportedly destroyed several buildings in the village of Sohmor in the Bekaa governorate, after which displacement orders were issued overnight for the entire village.<\/p>\n

According to the United Nations Aid Relief Office, OCHA<\/a>Attacks continue to impact health care and essential civilian services, including an attack on Monday that hit a volunteer-run medical center affiliated with the health authority in Sharifah in the Southern Governorate, killing one doctor and wounding five others. <\/p>\n
