The Android 17-based update is bringing several notable changes, like more quick panel customization and text spotlighting. When you enter this mode, a bar will appear between the two apps, which can be used to change the size of the windows. You&#8217;ll also see app handles at the top of the screen. There is no option to hide them. However, this is not the case with One UI 9 beta.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"e_e e_Q\">\n<p>Samsung has added a new toggle to the Multi Window settings with this beta. You can find this new option by going to <strong>Settings > Advanced Features > Multi Window<\/strong>. That toggle finally gives you the option to show or hide app handles. So if you consider them an eyesore, you no longer have to deal with them taking up space on your screen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"e_e e_Q\">\n<p>As of now, the One UI 9 beta rollout is only available for the Galaxy S26 series in select markets. As mentioned earlier, the beta has reached South Korea, Germany, and the UK.
