It’s been quite a while now since Jaguar made a drastic change to its branding and overall strategy, and in that time we’ve also managed to see Its Type 00 concept car revealed<\/a>Which abandons years of “established” automotive engineering and styling concepts in exchange for a more minimalist look. With this in mind, the company recently released a teaser of its new vehicle, albeit in a restrained manner.<\/p>\n

More specifically, Jaguar says this is its new luxury four-door GT electric vehicle It will be known only as Type 01<\/a>-According to the company, “Type” is a callback to its older models, while “0” means zero tailpipe emissions, and “1” symbolizes its place in Jaguar’s new generation of cars. Jaguar managing director Rawdon Glover says:<\/p>\n

We’ve reimagined Jaguar for a new era, taking inspiration from what’s come before. Our engineers have achieved this with a vehicle that looks and drives like no other electric car, yet reflects a unique provenance. The Type 01 name is part of that story \u2013 for me, the zero also symbolizes a complete brand reset, and the ‘1’, our first car for a new chapter, is ‘one of a kind!’<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
