A young woman has been left with traumatic brain injuries after she allegedly jumped from a balcony while trying to escape a gang rape, reports say.<\/p>\n

The alleged victim fell from the first floor of an apartment while trying to flee from the suspects – police have launched an investigation into the incident.<\/p>\n

Emergency services attended the scene after receiving reports of a woman falling from a balcony.<\/p>\n

The fire department rushed to Senftenberger Stra\u00dfe at 3:15 am on Tuesday before finding the woman in a horrific condition.<\/p>\n

Five unidentified people reportedly helped him back inside his apartment.<\/p>\n

When the ambulance arrived, it is said that his condition was so serious that an emergency medic vehicle was called.<\/p>\n

After taking the woman to the hospital, doctors found that she had suffered serious brain injuries. <\/p>\n

She is currently undergoing treatment.<\/p>\n

Police sources told Bild that a possible sex crime inside the apartment is being investigated.<\/p>\n

The property has been searched as part of the investigation.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, forensic inspectors came to the spot to collect samples from the apartment.<\/p>\n
