Pakistan women’s team captain Fatima Sana created history in T20 International. During the match against Zimbabwe cricket team at National Bank Stadium, Karachi on 15 May.<\/p>\n

Fatina Sana needed only 15 balls to complete her half-century. By doing so, they refreshed the statistics in both men’s and women’s T20I formats. The middle-order batsman of Pakistan women’s cricket team, who came to bat as the number 6 batsman, remained unbeaten after scoring 62 runs in just 19 balls.<\/p>\n

The innings was decorated with 10 fours and two sixes. Before today’s explosive innings of Fatima Sana, the record of scoring the fastest half-century in women’s cricket was in the name of New Zealand batsman Sophie Devine. Devine completed his half-century in 18 balls, while Sana needed only 14 balls to do so.<\/p>\n

The half-century scored by Fatina Sana today is the fastest even in Pakistan men’s cricket. Shoaib Malik was the fastest half-century scorer for Pakistan. In 2021, he completed his half-century in just 18 balls; Sana also broke this record.<\/p>\n

On the basis of Fatima’s brilliant innings, Pakistan women’s team scored 223 runs at the loss of only 4 wickets in 20 overs. After the first innings of the match, Women in Green are leading in the race to capture the match.<\/p>\n

Along with Sana, Pakistan batsman scored another half-century Saira Jabeen scored unbeaten 50 runs with the help of eight fours in 32 balls. The partnership of Sana and Jabeen destroyed the bowling front of the opposing team. These two batsmen made a partnership of 71 runs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mabero was the standout bowler for the Zimbabwe women’s cricket team, taking two wickets for 36 runs in her four overs, and one wicket each for Mavunga and Biza.<\/span><\/p>\n
