Recently, during a discussion with Stanford Business School professors, Griffin took a completely different perspective regarding the rapid development and efficiency of AI tools. <\/p>\n
Citadel’s CEO talked about how he went home “quite sad” after seeing the AI \u200b\u200bagents at Citadel working very efficiently. Earlier, the same type of work would take teams of PhDs in finance months or weeks to complete. <\/p>\n
Now, with the advent of AI, “work is being done by AI agents in hours or days,” Griffin said.<\/p>\n
He added, “These are not mid-level white-collar jobs. These are exceptionally high-skilled jobs that are being automated by agent AI.” <\/p>\n
According to Griffin, AI has become “much more powerful” than it was nine months ago and has allowed hedge funds to use the technology for many purposes. <\/p>\n
The stark warning about the \u201cdramatic impact of AI on society\u201d is coming from the head of one of the most successful hedge funds, who is concerned about how highly skilled people earning seven figures assessing financial markets are being replaced by a machine. Unfortunately this is happening in my office too. <\/p>\n
\u201cSuccess in your career will be defined by whether you continue to learn lifelong, and AI will make that even more important,\u201d Griffin said.<\/p>\n
Responding to Ken Griffin’s tough stance on AI, Elon Musk also raised questions about the future of AI in the coming years. <\/p>\n
SpaceX CEO asked X, “Where will AI be in 1, 2 or 3 years?”<\/p>\n
In response to the question, netizens also offered their viewpoints regarding the speech in which technology is developing. <\/p>\n
