In his view, “the human impulse is easy to understand,” after all Charles “has always taken great pains to remind us that he is a person, that he is kind, that he has a soul”. Furthermore, as Mr. Sykes points out, “Any parent would want to be reconciled to their child.”<\/p>\n
Furthermore, in the author’s own view “Charles and Harry are very similar in temperament; both impetuous, impatient with the institution. But I think as king, you have to differentiate between what’s good for you as a human being and what’s good for the nation and what’s good for the institution,” he admitted.<\/p>\n
Mr Sykes also said before the finale, “Bringing Harry back \u2013 everything he said in the episode, everything he said in the Netflix documentary, everything he maintains about how terrible the British royal family is \u2013 is going to be incredibly unpopular.” <\/p>\n
By doing this Charles “gave him a platform in this way,” as well as “covertly supported him,” and it is being described as “incredibly dangerous” by Mr. Sykes, because “I think it makes Charles look weak. I think it’s unpopular,” he added. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
