Former Ohio teacher admits to dysfunctional relationship with student. <\/p>\n

He sent thousands of messages to the 15-year-old professing his love for her.<\/p>\n

Dabouby taught at Horizon Science Academy in Columbus.<\/p>\n

After the student and Daboubi were found in the car together, he told police that he was in a relationship with her.<\/p>\n

The Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office said<\/a> was a pair Laughing, touching and exchanging thousands of texts.<\/span><\/p>\n

Disturbing messages were found on a 15-year-old’s phone, including declarations of love.<\/p>\n

Daboubi was fired from his teaching job after his arrest.<\/p>\n

If sentenced, he faces up to 18 months in prison and must register as a sex offender.<\/p>\n

The court also recommended community control, counseling and giving up Daboubi’s teaching license.<\/p>\n

The case comes to light after a married high school teacher and mother of two was arrested on suspicion of molesting a student at her school.<\/p>\n

Danielle Weaver, 29, was charged with child abuse and inappropriate sexual contact after she turned herself in to police.<\/p>\n

The exact age of the victim has not been released but local reports indicate he may have been 15 years old.<\/p>\n

Georgia<\/span> The Bureau of Investigation (GBI) began investigating the allegations and an arrest warrant was issued for Weaver, of Leesburg, Georgia.<\/p>\n

But according to WALB News, the ninth grade teacher turned herself in and was later released on bail.<\/p>\n

In a statement, the Lee County School System confirmed the investigation and said the teacher has resigned from his position.<\/p>\n

It says: \u201cReports and rumors have been circulating regarding alleged inappropriate contact between a teacher and student at a Lee County School System school.<\/p>\n

“We, at the 9th Grade Campus, can confirm that there is an ongoing legal investigation involving law enforcement regarding the alleged conduct of a former staff member who is no longer working for the district.”<\/p>\n
