Donald Trump’s pledge to “destroy” Iran if the regime does not “completely open” the Strait of Hormuz is approaching its midnight deadline.<\/p>\n

Admiral Brad Cooper, commander of US Central Command, has accused Iran of attacking civilian sites out of desperation due to the weakening of its military.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are acting in a sign of desperation,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

“In the last few weeks, they have attacked civilian targets more than 300 times, very deliberately.”<\/p>\n

Cooper also mocked Iran’s faltering war machine.<\/p>\n
