She reveals in the following what she believes every believer in Jesus is called to do:

“It is not enough for us to say:” I love
Lord,” but I must also love my neighbor. St. John says
If you say you love God and do not love yourself, you are a liar
Neighbour How can you love a God whom you do not see, if you do not see Him?
Love your neighbor whom you see, whom you touch, whom you are with
stay? And so it’s very important for us to feel that love
If it is true then it has to hurt. I must be willing to give whatever I have to give
Don’t harm other people and actually do them good. it
What is required is that I be willing to give until it hurts. otherwise,
There is no true love in me and I bring injustice and not peace
The people around me.”

Jesus’ love for us was painful. We are created in His image for great things, to love and be loved. As Scripture tells us, we must “put on Christ.” And so, we are created to be loved just as He loves us. Jesus makes himself hungry, naked, homeless, unwanted and says, “You did this to me.” On the last day he will say to those on his right, “Whatever you did to the least of these, you did
I and he will also say to those on our left, Whatever you neglected to do for the least of these, you neglected to do for me.”

As He was dying on the cross, Jesus said, “I thirst.” Jesus thirsts for our love, and this thirst is shared by all, poor and rich. We are all so thirsty for the love of others that they go out of their way to avoid harming us and to do us good. This is what true love means, to give until it hurts.”

How might his words encourage you to do things differently?

mother Teresa “For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not take care

[59
156,307,26475,164
post-157356","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-daily-bread","tag-god","tag-mother","tag-teresa","tag-today
["GET
