(Photo by Simon Galloway\/LAT Images)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"0\">ABB FIA Formula E has recently announced that it has entered into a new partnership with Lenovo, which will see Lenovo serve as the official provider for augmented reality (AR) and digital content, including live broadcast presentations as well as fan experiences.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"0\">That said, the team-up focuses on demonstrating a handful of AI-based applications in real-world sports broadcasts, such as the use of AI video optimization for real-time color balancing, in addition to AI-powered AR graphics directly in the live broadcast feed to provide additional data to viewers during races.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"1\">As mentioned, the partnership also includes fan engagement, including an &#8220;immersive&#8221; digital experience that will run on Lenovo&#8217;s xIQ Agent platform.
