Xiaomi made a few announcements today, namely the new 17T series, and now we can add some smart wearables to the mix. Meet the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro, Xiaomi Buds 6 and Xiaomi Sound Play.<\/p>\n
The Smart Band 10 Pro has been making waves in China for over a week now under the moniker Mi Band 10 Pro. Global wearers get the Smart Band, Chinese buyers get the Mi Band.<\/p>\n
Apart from the name, the new wearable is very similar to its predecessor \u2013 it has the same size, 1.74-inch display. It’s 60Hz and 16.8 million colors, but it’s a little brighter, peaking at 2,000 nits (versus 1,200 on the old one).<\/p>\n
The battery is the same 350mAh and promises similar runtime \u2013 up to 21 days of light use, 15 days of normal use and 8 days of always on use.<\/p>\n

The new band is slightly lighter at 21.6 grams (the ceramic model is heavier at 28.7 grams), and it’s also thinner while still maintaining durability.<\/p>\n
Xiaomi says that the health sensors are brand new and feature a dual-light PD sensor. The band has upgraded sleep detection algorithms, something Xiaomi said when it launched its predecessor \u2013 innovations every year!<\/p>\n

The Xiaomi Buds 6 are better than its predecessor in several key areas. For starters, the buds have a new 11mm triple-magnet driver that should produce better sound. It also has Qualcomm aptX lossless audio driver support with bitrates up to 2.1Mbps (up from 1.2Mbps on the Buds 5).<\/p>\n
Noise cancellation should also be better.<\/p>\n

The Buds 6 feature a new “biomimetic curved design”, making them thinner and lighter than previous models, while providing a better fit with increased contact area and an improved airflow design.<\/p>\n

Xiaomi also introduced something new \u2013 Sound Play, which supposedly lets a Neanderthal ask their Gemini or Alexa to play some music.<\/p>\n
The Sound Play has an output of 18W, weighs 415 grams, is IP68 rated, so you can take it to the beach, and can last up to 14 hours.<\/p>\n

The Xiaomi Sound Play supports TWS pairing, which means you can set up two speakers to play simultaneously. Xiaomi says you can connect up to 100 devices to Auracast.<\/p>\n
Design-wise, the Sound Play is a beautiful speaker, with an ambient light ring at the bottom that matches the speaker’s color (either orange, blue, green or purple), and an infinity mirror filling the light that appears to be the speaker’s bass reflecting chamber.<\/p>\n

The Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro starts at \u20ac80 and goes up to \u20ac100 for the NFC and ceramic version. The Xiaomi Buds 6 are priced at \u20ac120. The Xiaomi Sound Play speaker is only \u20ac50.<\/p>\n
