On May 25 in Las Vegas, the 56-year-old American singer and actor walked the red carpet of the American Music Awards, where he reflected on the band’s decades-long journey at the awards show in a conversation. People <\/i>magazine.<\/p>\n
Wahlberg told the outlet, “These red carpets are an incredible reminder, because there was a time when we were kids, and all these old actors were on the red carpet, and we’d be like, ‘Oh, there’s so-and-so and there’s so-and-so.'”<\/p>\n
“And they were like, ‘Who are these kids?’ And now we’re walking around like, ‘Who is that kid?’ Who is this child?’ And literally the roles have reversed, but we’re very lucky to still be here,” he admitted.<\/p>\n
“We’re so grateful to still be here and we’re rooting for all these young kids to get to know it because it’s better this time. The later it gets, the better it is. I’m not walking on this red carpet thinking I’m 20 years old again. I’m honored to be here at 56. And I hope these young actors can feel that, too,” respectively<\/i> the hitmaker noted.<\/p>\n
