Apple is preparing for mass production of its foldable iPhone Ultra, and new leaks keep coming about what to expect.<\/p>\n

The latest details come from Fixed Focus Digital, which Posted today<\/a> The iPhone Ultra has “impressive VC (vapor chamber) cooling performance” (translated).<\/p>\n

This is the first time we’ve heard of the iPhone Ultra featuring a vapor chamber.<\/p>\n

Apple added vapor chambers to the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max last year, and they seem to have been a huge success.<\/p>\n

The vapor chambers combined with the switch to aluminum have done wonders for the iPhone’s ability to maintain performance at a high level. In contrast, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro had issues with overheating under pressure.<\/p>\n

The iPhone Ultra adding a vapor chamber to such a thin frame is surprising, but there’s good news. This helps ease some of my concerns about the device’s use of titanium in the frame.<\/p>\n

With this reveal, the leaker says that all signs indicate that the iPhone Ultra is on track for a September release as originally planned. This is despite various rumors about production hurdles.<\/p>\n

Finally, the leaker teased that they will have more big news to share tomorrow related to Apple’s foldable.<\/p>\n
