Looks like that’s about to change. according to sammobileSamsung is developing the Samsung Galaxy Fit 4, which is expected to launch later this year.

The problem is that it won’t be at the next Galaxy Unpacked event. The show is scheduled for July 2026 and is expected to focus on Samsung’s foldables and the Galaxy Watch 9 series. According to SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy Fit 4 is more likely to be revealed after a few months. With the Galaxy S26 FE and Galaxy Tab S12 series, September is currently the best guess.

What we actually know about the Galaxy Fit 4

Honestly, not much. SamMobile says there will be improvements over the Fit 3, but they haven’t shared details on what those improvements will look like. It’s pretty safe to assume that it won’t run Wear OS. The Fit line has always used a simple RTOS-based operating system, and there’s no sign that’s changing.

Fans have been asking for built-in GPS since the Fit 3 was launched. Without it, outdoor workout tracking relies on your phone’s GPS signal, which means carrying your phone with you on every run. This is the most obvious difference in the Fit 3’s feature set, and it will make a meaningful difference for anyone exercising outside. Whether Samsung actually addresses this with the Samsung Galaxy Fit 4 is still unknown.

The Fit 3 has set a solid baseline. It came in at $60 in the US with a 1.6-inch AMOLED display, 13-day battery life, heart rate and SpO2 monitoring, fall detection, and a 5ATM/IP68 rating. It did a lot for the price. Any successor will need to build on that without raising costs too much to remain relevant.

Samsung has not confirmed this, so consider it a rumor for now.

Samsung’s affordable fitness tracker lineup has been quiet since the arrival of the Galaxy Fit 3 in 2024.
