This includes the Verified Student Aid Index (SAI), Federal Pell Grant eligibility, and any comments or decline codes.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, applicants and support administrators had to wait one to three days for overnight batch processing to return results.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"thrv_wrapper thrv_text_element\" data-type=\"\" data-css=\"tve-u-19e88e2675e\">\n<h2 class=\"\">why it matters<\/h2>\n<p>Delays in FAFSA processing have defined the last two aid cycles. The 2024-25 cycle was staggered by a failed rollout that pushed financial aid award letters into the summer. Experienced applicants will continue to wait until Federal Student Aid completes building out real-time functionality for that population. <\/p>\n<p>Students who submit during maintenance windows or system outages may also see delays.
