When we face death because of sin, we are only paid what we have earned. Sin is rebellion against God \u2013 the Father who loves us and the Son who gave up the glory of suffering the cross to free us from sin! Praise God, the Father’s gift of eternal life is a free gift given to us by grace, which we accept through faith in Jesus as our Savior and Lord! We couldn’t earn it, deserve it, or demand it. God not only provided us with this gift, but also provided it to us lovingly. For us to reject it or not receive it with passionate faith is to choose to receive what we have earned: <\/p>\n

Lord, thank you for loving me when no one else could or would. Thank you for sacrificing heaven’s most precious gift so that I can join you as your child, your beloved child, just like my Savior Jesus. Your gift is the best gift I have ever received. I offer this praise in the name of the one whose gift has given me life! Amen.<\/p>\n
