There are pre-orders open nowStarting price starts at $349. The regular price for the Ring Plus Case will be $479.

The ring will begin shipping on May 15th. The company is using a tiered model for introductory pricing, where the price increases after a certain number of rings are sold. Here is the program:

$349 – First 1,000 orders ($130 off)

$389 – Next 2,000 orders ($90 off)

$429 – Next 3,000 orders ($50 off)

$449 – Until pre-order ends.

Due to Oura’s legal action, Ultrahuman’s smart rings are out of the US market by October 2025. As I explained in detail hereOra sued several other smart ring manufacturers over patent infringement and won a judgment from the US International Trade Commission. As a result, most other smart ring companies had to leave the US market or make a deal with Ora. Ultrahuman found a third option – continuing to develop a ring they already had in the works, betting that the ITC would rule that its design was different enough that it did not infringe Ora’s patent.

It seems that that ploy has been successful. U.S. Customs and Border Protection has officially signed off on the new design, allowing it to be sold here. Older designs of Ultrahumans, such as I reviewed the Ring Air last yearare still banned.

What’s new in Ultrahuman Ring Pro?

I wrote More information about Ring Pro here. It has a fast processor with “on-chip machine learning”, 15 days of battery life, and the ability to hold 250 days of data if you’re unable to sync your Ring for a long period of time. The physical shape is similar to the Ring Air (no sensor bulge, but there is a flattened area beneath the interior), and it has break points for easy removal of the ring in an emergency.

What do you think so far?
<button class="ml-1 font-semibold text-brand-green underline hover:text-brand-green-700" type="button" aria-label="Comment section trigger" onclick="window.openweb.scrollToComments('01KMG9MYQ4NX8AAASXHTZW5MPT')" x-text="hasComments ?
