White House press secretary Carolyn Leavitt declined to provide details of the US plan on Wednesday, but said talks were ongoing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He said that if talks were not successful, more attacks could take place and that US forces were “very close” to meeting “key objectives”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

To date, the death toll from the war is more than 1,500 in Iran, nearly 1,100 in Lebanon, 16 in Israel and 13 US military members, as well as numerous civilian deaths in the Gulf region.
