talking to People <\/i>On Wednesday, Putnam County Coroner Todd Zenner confirmed that Nichols was found unconscious in his apartment on March 20 and “in a position as if he were sleeping.”<\/p>\n
“The deceased lived alone and was discovered by an old friend of his who had stayed overnight to look after him,” Todd said.<\/p>\n
He said, “Evidence indicates that the time of death was very recent. Investigators are reviewing recently posted videos as possible evidence of prior illness.”<\/p>\n
Todd further told the outlet that there was no indication of foul play, adding that the late star had a history of heart problems.<\/p>\n
